University of Pavia

The University of Pavia is a public university founded in 1361, among the oldest in Italy. It brings together a wide community of students, academics, researchers and staff, with a recognised role in research and a dense network of national and European collaborations.

We have worked with the University of Pavia since 2021, when we built Orienta, the student guidance portal, together with the C.OR. Centre. The project covered service design, communication strategy, branding, website development and a social campaign for the Open Days. The platform grew out of the work done for student guidance at the University of Siena, with an information architecture designed for public universities.

From that first project the collaboration widened to other fronts. Pavia is one of the nine universities in the EC2U Alliance, the European university for which we designed and developed the new web platform from 2023. Since 2024 we have worked on Health Mode On, a research and communication project on students' psychological wellbeing, funded by the Ministry of University and Research under the PRO.BEN programme and coordinated by the University of Pavia itself with eight universities and higher arts education institutions. For this project we look after identity, communication strategy and the whole narrative ecosystem, from the website to the magazine and the podcast "Lo Stato del Disagio".

It is a collaboration built over time, crossing the three levels of our work: identity, development and relations.
